Your questions
I've never studied French. Is this for me?
Yes. The course is built for complete beginners and for people who studied a little and forgot (level A1). If you already have some French, write to me and we'll find the right lessons.
What happens if the group doesn't reach 3 people?
The group only starts with at least 3 participants. If it doesn't, you get a full refund, or you can choose another format, such as lessons for two.
What if the group isn't right for me?
Try the first session. If it doesn't suit you, tell me within 48 hours and I refund the 9 remaining sessions, that is €225.
Can I change my mind after buying?
Yes. You have 14 days from your purchase to withdraw, by email to contact@idylangue.com. If your lessons have already started, you pay only for the lessons given and I refund the rest. A trial lesson or single lesson that has already taken place can no longer be cancelled. For the platform alone, the right of withdrawal ends once you have accessed it. Details are in the terms of sale.
Can I cancel or move a private lesson?
Yes, free of charge up to 48 hours before the lesson. Within 48 hours, the lesson is due. In the 10-lesson pack, a lesson cancelled in time moves to the end of your series, and one last-minute cancellation is allowed. Need flexible dates? Single lessons at €60 are booked whenever it suits you.
What if I miss a group session?
Missed sessions aren't refunded, but the content of each session stays on the platform, so you can catch up on your own and never lose the thread.
I don't live in Belgium. Can I join?
Yes, all lessons are online. Times are given in Brussels time, so check the difference with your time zone before you book.
What do I need?
A stable internet connection, a computer or tablet with a camera and microphone, and a quiet place. You receive the Zoom link by email.
